Welcome to Daniel’s Ranch! If you have just joined our community, please check out all the links on our website for lots of helpful information. As a new member, you should have received a Welcome Packet with key information about our community and surrounding areas. The homeowners of Daniel’s Ranch have strived over the years to create a close-knit neighborhood through social events, a community Facebook page, open HOA meetings to all members, and other means. Daniel’s Ranch is a self-managed community with an HOA Board that handles the finances, events and more. As a new member to the community please come to the meetings, introduce yourself, and consider volunteering. It’s a great way to meet your neighbors!
Our neighborhood offers small-town living not far from the larger cities, but is secluded enough for security and privacy! Wilderness recreation is right outside your door with 2 miles of community owned and maintained trails through our nature preserve. As you venture out to downtown Carnation, you can find dining, as well as many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, camping, and a seasonal farmers market. Carnation is flanked by the Tolt and Snoqualmie rivers which offer fishing, rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, and river floats. There are also many local farms to visit with U-pick berries, pumpkins, and more. For winter and summer mountain recreation, we are only about an hour's drive from Stevens and Snoqualmie passes.
The land where Daniel's Ranch now lies was acquired from the Weyerhaeuser corporation in 1995 and our association was established soon after. While Weyerhaeuser selectively harvested some of the woodland areas, many large old growth cedar and Douglas fir trees still adorn Daniel's Ranch homes and the neighborhood. Once the association was formed, homes were designed and built by Schneider Homes, Inc. Large lots were selected for our homes, most over an acre, and are bordered by 40 acres of woodland preserve owned by the association. The combination of large lots and protected green space around our neighborhood make our neighborhood unique.
